BULGARIA'S TREASURES ENJOY WORLDWIDE INTEREST, SAYS DANAILOV

Bulgarian archaeological finds enjoyed huge interest abroad, Culture Minister Stefan Danailov said.

On October 13 an exhibition featuring 200 pieces of the Thracian gold treasure would be presented in Paris' private museum Jacquemart-Andre, Focus news agency reported.

An exhibition is also scheduled in the historic museum in Basel, Danailov said.

Due to the huge interest in Japan the gold mask of king Teres is already exhibited there. The mask was found by the team of Georgi Kitov. Japan would witness another exhibition of Bulgarian treasures in 2008.

Danailov said that most exhibitions were going to take place during the autumn and the winter as the tourist inflow during that time of the year was smaller.
