Close to 30 per cent of high school graduates applying for university said the preferred Sofia University St Kliment Ohridski, an Alpha Research study showed.
For the study, 480 students who intend to apply for university, had been questioned, Focus news agency said.
Twenty-two per cent preferred Sofia's University of National and World Economy and for another 20 per cent the Varna University of Economics was their first choice.
The research had been carried out between November 17 and Novemer 28, with a direct standard interview among the 480 students.
