The Bulgarian town of Stara Zagora will host the European festival of youth films MyEurope from November 15 to 17 2007.
A total of 17 films of young authors from all over Europe, aged between 16 and 20, would be shown during the festival, which would be held in the Youth House of the Regional Youth Council, a festival media statement said.
Another 20 cities in Europe, among which Madrid, Paris, Moscow and Brussels, will also host the event.
Citizens of Europe is organiser of the festival. The network’s Bulgarian partner is the regional youth council in Stara Zagora.
On November 17, the Association of Community Foundations and local companies will announce their favourite films and awards will be handed out. The audience will also have the chance to select a winner.
The votes in all the 20 host cities of the festival will be summed and the award for the film of the European audience will be given.
