Bulgarian President Georgi Purvanov is making a work visit to Azerbaijan on March 10-12 2008, the President's press service said. Purvanov's programme in Azerbaijan includes meeting with counterpart Ilham Aliyev and plenary talks between the official delegations of the two states.
A broad number of topics concerning bilateral relations will be discussed along the possibilities for boosting trade, as well as economic and energy cooperation.
The two presidents are also expected to discuss developments in South Eastern Europe and in Central Asia.
Regional Development and Public Works Minister Assen Gagaouzov, chairman of Parliament's agriculture and forestry committee Vassil Kalinov, Deputy Foreign Minister Evgenia Koldanova and several of the President's aides will be part of the Bulgarian delegation accompanying Purvanov in Azerbaijan.
