Bulgarias new Prosecutor-General Boris Velchev said he would request the removal of political for all administrators and politicians facing a trial.
Velchev said he wants an investigation of court proceedings that stopped after the people involved got political immunity, mediapool.bg reported.
A list prepared by Supreme Court of Cassation magistrates contains the names of six MPs, who face trials. Among them are Bulgaria Peoples Union (BPU) head Stefan Sofianski, and representatives of the Movement For Rights and Freedoms (MRF), Ataka movement, and Coalition for Bulgaria.
Last week the National Assembly approved the removal of Sofianskis immunity. Sofianski faces investigations for sales concluded during his term as Sofia mayor. Previous Prosecutor-General Nikola Filchev requested investigation of Sofianskis deals.
