
President Georgi Purvanov and his wife Zorka Purvanova will organise traditional prom for orphans in Boyana residence.
The president invited 366 high-school graduates from different Bulgarian cities, Darik Radio reported. Purvanov opened today a university and job fair in Boyana, specially aimed to help graduating orphans.
A number of actors, singers and Bulgarian celebrities will take part in the celebration. Pop duet Karizma, showman Slavi Trifonov and actors Liubo Neikov, Krasimir Radkov and Viktor Kalev will perform for the graduates.
During a meeting with the graduating students Purvanov announced the opening of a national hotline for children. Orphans and children with problems could share their troubles with professionals.
Purvanov also organised a charity football match, aimed at collecting funds for different orphanages. Some of the ‘players’ to taking part in the game included famous Bulgarian football players, diplomats and politicians.
