Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency (NRA) has made a revolutionary step towards transparency in administration, mediapool.bg said. All glass windows in the public offices of the NRA have been removed, mediapool.bg quoted the second press secretary of the NRA as saying.
"The measure was taking in as part of the politics of openness and transparency in the work of the NRA with its clients," the agency said.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the management of NRA with the heads of the department responsible for implementation of the agency's tasks, mediapool.bg said.
The NRA also announced it had secured sufficient copies of tax forms for all Bulgarians.
Clients would be offered advise and help on which of the forms would have to be filled in, the agency said.
The forms were also available on the website of the NRA. Deadline for handing in forms was end of April 2008, mediapool.bg said.
