Three Bulgarians were victorious at the 45th Nikola Petrov International Greco-Roman Wrestling Tournament, held on August 4 in Sofia.
World and two-time European Champion Nikolai Gergov won the Nikola Petrov Golden Belt prize for a second time after defeating Refik Aiwasoglu of Turkey 2:0 in the 66kg category final.
Venelin Venkov triumphed over Maxim Mordovin of Russia in the 55kg category final.
In the 96kg category final, Kaloyan Dinchev beat Vasily Teploukhov 2:0.
Bulgaria also took home a bronze medal. Yavor Yanakiev defeated Ahmed Mohamed Abdelsadek of Egypt 2:1.
Bulgaria's fourth finalist, Emil Milev, lost the 60kg final to Davor Stefanek of Serbia 0:2.
