Current account deficit for the first nine months of 2007 increased to reach 3.76 billion euro or 13.8 per cent of GDP, which was less than a per cent up from last month.
Preliminary data from the Bulgarian National Bank published on November 13 showed, Dnevnik daily said.
Over the same period last year, the current account deficit was 8.4 per cent of GDP.
Only over September 2007, the negative saldo of the current account reached 464 million euro, which was a two-fold increase year-on- year, theBNB announcement said.
