Manchester City’s striker Valeri Bojinov hopes to be recovered by New Year.
Bojinov suffered a knee ligament injury in the derby victory over Manchester United in August, Reuters said.
The striker said that he was “working really hard.”
“That's the most serious injury in my career and I realise I'll have to be focused and mentally strong,” he said.
Bojinov hoped to return to the team “even stronger than before.”
Reuters said that the Bulgarian was considered one of the most “exciting young strikers” in Europe.
