Tottenham’s striker from Bulgaria Dimitar Berbatov said that he was “happy at Tottenham and has no intention of asking for a move away” from the team.
Berbatov is still to reach his “scintillating form”, shown in the last season and there were suggestions that he will soon ask to move to another club, UK’s Daily Mail said.
“I don't care for speculation. People talk about me because of what I did last season and that's normal,” Berbatov told the Sunday Mirror.
“Loyalty is important to me and there is a debt to be repaid,” he said.
Berbatov said that he would leave the team only if he is no longer wanted.
