On July 18, Bulgaria’s biggest Rhodope Mountain town, Smolyan, would launch a new international jazz festival.
July Jazz Smolyan would last four days and its programme includes concerts and happenings, avtora.com reported.
The fest would aim to present unique combinations of jazz and ethno sounds, making it different from other jazz festivals taking place in Bulgaria, avtora.com reported.
All events, including concerts, screenings, exhibitions and workshops could be attended free of charge.
Apart from Bulgarian jazz performers, Italy’s Livio Minafra & Municipale Balcanica and Serbian project Vince Olah would perform. In addition, local project Ro- voice would perform together with Russian trio High Time.
