A roundtable discussion Bulgaria in the European Union - New Prospects and Opportunities will take place on February 21.
Deputy Economy and Energy ministers Nina Radeva and Kornelia Ninova will hold presentations at the event, Focus news agency reported.
Representatives of economic and energy committee and representatives of business and non-governmental organisations will take part in the discussion.
The roundtable discussion will give for the first time the opportunity to state administration representatives, business representatives and non-governmental sector to discuss together the government's policy in the sphere of economy, Radeva said.
Boosting the competitiveness of Bulgaria’s economy is one of the measures for improving the technology level and productivity, Radeva said.
Bulgarian business should focus on the opportunities, which the European structural funds offer and any attempts for financial fraud that could harm Bulgaria's image should be prevented, Radeva said.
