Meteorologists said that Bulgaria was expected to experience new temperature highs on January 11.
Weather would continue being unusually warm for the season. In parts of north Bulgaria, the temperature could exceed the all-time highest values registered, Darik Radio reported.
On January 11 the maximum temperatures throughout the country will vary from 13 to 18 degrees Celsius.
Mountains are still mostly snowless. The temperature drops below zero degrees mainly during the night and at higher altitudes.
A new temperature record was registered in Vidin on January 10. Thermometres there showed an 18.2 degrees Celsius count.
The temperature in Montana also reached 18 degrees. Meteorologists in the town said that the week from January 8 to 14 was expected to be among the warmest this winter.
