BULGARIA EXCLUDED FROM CHANNEL 4’S TOP 20 PROPERTY DESTINATIONS

British Channel 4's show “A Place in the Sun” had excluded Bulgaria from its top 20 chart of the best property destinations, mediapool.bg reported.

The chart was based on the possible financial return in 10 years from a 100 000 pound sterling investment in property.

The chart compared the financial return on investments in EU countries and EU candidate countries, mediapool said.

Bulgaria was excluded from the chart because the country’s property market had become too insecure and no prediction of financial returns was possible, according to the show’s producers.

Saturation of the property market and excessive construction at resorts had decreased the value of Bulgaria as a property destination, they said.

The chart was topped by Romania, with a financial return of 500 per cent, mediapool.bg said.

	I have to agree its a bit saturated in in the ski and beach resorts of Bulgaria I am surprised that some sanctions to stop building in some areas are not implemented in Bulgaria. Bulgaria is a beautiful country please dont let it end up as a concrete jungle- money is not everything. Beauty beats construction any day. It has to be said that a lot of people have invested in apartments and will not be staying in hotels just bear this in mind. Personally we think bulgaria is beautiful without the annoyance of all this construction work I do feel its being destroyed. Romania is said to reap 400 time what is spent but I wouldnt want to buy in Romania.
