Bulgaria's State Fund Agriculture called for projects under two measures of the European Union-funded regional development operational programme on April 17 2008, Focus news agency reported.

All 28 regional payment agencies of the fund will start accepting projects under the measures of the programme regarding the setting up of farms by young farmers and farm modernisation, Focus said.

The budget of the first measure is 102 million euro, while for the second measure it is more than 1.04 billion euro. Calls for projects under the other measures of the programme will be launched by the beginning of June 2008.

Bulgaria will receive a total of 3.24 billion euro for regional development under the programme until 2013.
