Austrian ski federation head and deputy president of the Austrian Olympic Committee Peter Schrocksnadel is visiting Bulgaria. His delegation met today the head of the state agency for youth and sport Vessela Lecheva and other representatives of Bulgarian sport organisations.

Bulgarian officials presented policies in the sports field and Bulgaria's preparation for participation in the Turin Winter Olympics.

The participation of Austrian investors in the development and reconstruction of Bulgarian winter sports bases was also discussed. Austria might invest in the development of Vitosha as a winter sports destination, Focus Sport agency reported.

A work group will be created to analyse the legal aspect of such partnership. Schrocksnadel said Sofia is a serious competitor to Austria's Salzburg for Winter Olympics host in 2014.
