Bulgaria had the 15th place in the EUFA ranking with 22.416 points before the matches on October 4, Focus news agency said.

Behind Bulgaria in the classification were Greece with 21.331 points, Switzerland with 20.475 points and Norway with 20.425 points.
If Bulgaria would manage to keep its position till the end of the season, it would have the right to two participating teams in the preliminary rounds for the Champions League in the spring of 2009.
Leaders of the ranking were Spain with 65.766 points, followed by UK with 62.124 and Italy with 53.785 points.
