Ruling party National Movement Simeon II (NMSII) began discussing draft budget 2007.
Party members were concerned over the defence budget, Darik Radio reported. The planned sum was going to prevent the Bulgarian army from carrying out successful modernisation and professionalisation, NMSII said.
NMSII was going to discuss the issue with its coalition partners, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF), NMSII representatives said.
Representatives of the three parties were going to take part in a seminar on November 17, 18 and 19.
Bulgarian National Radio reported that Parliament was going to start discussing the draft budget on November 21.
Constitution changes, that European Commission experts previously demanded, were going to be discussed on November 29. The set of changes represents the fourth constitution amendment in Bulgaria.
