Regional Development and Public Works Minister Assen Gagaouzov and Interior Minister Roumen Petkov had talks on August 7 2007 with representatives of the Bourgas municipal council and with the city’s deputy mayor to discuss construction of the Bourgas-Alexandroupolis oil pipeline, the Regional Development and Public Works Ministry media office said.
One of the main topics was the interaction between the state and the city of Bourgas, according to Focus news agency.
”We discussed the allocation of some of the taxes and the participation of Bulgarian companies in the construction of the pipeline,” Drakaliev said.
State and local representatives also discussed ecological safeguards and security during construction.
