Drum virtuoso Billy Cobham promised to perform music for the soul to his fans in Bulgaria.
His concert will be held on October 24 2007 in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.
The event is part of the autumn edition of the Sofia Jazz Peak festival and starts at 7.30pm
Cobham and the band that accompanies him, Culture Mix, arrived in Sofia on October 23 and has started rehearsals for the show.
They did not require any special menu for their stay in Bulgaria, organisers said.
Cobham is considered one of the world’s most influential drummers. He is famous for his jazz and collaboration with Mahavishnu Orchestra. Cobham performed with musicians including Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Larry Coryell, and Horace Silver.
