Bulgarian national football team leader Dimitar Berbatov ranked 15th in the World's Top Goal Scorer ranking for 2007 of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
The ranking was according to the goals scored in the matches of the national teams and in the club tournaments, Focus news agency said.
Berbatov scored seven goals for Bulgaria and two for his team, the UK’s Tottenham, in the UEFA Cup.
The Bulgarian would have a chance to improve his ranking in the upcoming matches of Bulgarian national team against Romania and Slovenia, in November 2007, and in Tottenham’s matches in the first round of the new UEFA Cup tournament.
Trésor Mputu Mabi form Congo, who plays for the Congolese Mazembe Lubumbashi ranks first with 20 goals scored, followed by the Argentinean Juan Román Riquelme from Boca Juniors, with 15.
