The ninth international jazz festival at Bansko started on August 8 and was concluded on August 13.

Cuban Raul Paz was responsible for the spectacular opening performance, avtora.com reported.

Paz presented his new album Revolucion, featuring various Latino styles.

Bulgarian performers who contributed to the atmosphere included Nina Nikolina and Kalin Veliov, as well as dancers Monika Stoyanova and Alfredo Tores.

Musicians from the Big Band of the Belgrade Radio performed during the second festival night, avtora.com reported.

Bulgarian band Bulgara, as well as Sexto Sentido quartet performed on August 12. During the closing night a number of Bulgarian and foreign musicians entertained the audience.
