BAD PROSPECTS FOR BULGARIA’S BERBATOV- DAILY MAIL
18:50 Thu 01 Nov 2007

‘Moody’ Berbatov had an unhappy first match under the new coach Juande Ramos’s management in the Tottenham’s 2:0 victory over Blackpool in the Carling Cup.

Berbatov looked moody when he was taken off the game, Daily Mail reported.

Tottenham won with goals scored by Robbie Keane and Pascal Chimbonda.

Keane lifted the ball over a Blackpool keeper from Berbatov's flick-on in the 18th minute, BBC said. Robinson provided the long ball for Berbatov to head on, leaving Keane to score his ninth goal of the season.

Ramos said that “the most important thing here was the victory, the result. (…) With this result, we can look forward to the next round,” he said.
