Bulgarian Labour and Social Policy Minister Emilia Maslarova met general manager of New South Wales (NSW) Department of Education and Training Chris Burvill during her visit to Australia.

Maslarova and Burvill reached several agreements concerning opportunities for co-operation between the two countries in the sphere of professional qualification policies and encouragement of investment in human resources.

During the meeting Burvill said that he highly estimated Bulgaria's endeavour in professional qualification programme development.

Burvill said that department was interested in governmental measures concerning relations with employees in the sphere, which is also part of the Australian policy.

Another topic of discussion at the meeting was Bulgaria's policy on professional qualification programmes for youth, people with disabilities, non-qualified workers and prisoners.
