
Czech power utility CEZ has named Petr Ivanek regional manager for Bulgaria, to replace Tomas Huner who has been appointed deputy minister of industry and trade of the Czech Republic, CEZ said in a statement.
Ivanek has so far served as CEZ deputy regional manager for Bulgaria. Ivanek has been at the helm of consultancy firm AP&Partner for a year and a management board member of the biggest power distributor in the Czech Republic - SME. Huner was general director of SME.
In 2004 CEZ bought 67 per cent in Bulgarian power distributors servicing the capital Sofia, Sofia region and the northern town of Pleven.
