The coastal resort of Sozopol would host for the 22nd consecutive time the Apollonia arts festival between September 1 and 10.
Apart from the exhibitions and concerts typical for the event, organisers were planning to include the premiers of several plays to be presented in Sofia theatres during the coming season.
Some of the plays to be presented during the festival include Don Juan, A Severed Head, The House of Bernarda Alba and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.
During the festival Bulgarian band D 2 would present its new album. Rock band Signal, Maria Ilieva, Beloslava and Grafa would also perform, avtora.com reported.
The dance troop of Neshka Robeva would present its latest project on September 3.
Other events included classical music concerts, photo exhibition and the presentation of new books, avtora.com reported.
