Antonio Banderas will present in person his directors film El Camino de Los Ingleses (Summer Rain) at Cinemania film festival in Sofia.
The premiere will be held at 6.30pm on November 9 2007 in National Palace of Culture’s Hall 1.
El Camino de Los Ingleses is an adaptation of Antonio Soler’s novel of the same name. It is dedicated to the first loves, lusts and obsessions of friends on vacation at the end of the 1970s in Banderas’s hometown Malaga in the 1970’s.
According to the critics, Banderas had done an incredible work. The film shows high-level visual stylistics and non-standard footage.
Bandereas is in Bulgaria since mid-October for the shooting of his new film The Code. His partner in the film is Morgan Freeman.
