An exhibition showing ancient civilizations that used to inhabit Bulgaria will take place in the Swiss Basel on March 14 and 15.
Bulgaria's President Georgi Purvanov will open the exhibition, Focus news agency reported.
The exhibition will include 360 artifacts derived from unique European pre-hestoric settlements, stone tombs, Thracian mounds and Roman towns.
Unique ceramic vessels, pictures of the God-Mother from the Neolithic age and gold artifacts will be shown at the exhibition.
The visitors will have the opportunity to see one of the oldest and largest Thracian golden trasures in Europe found in Bulgaria’s Vulchitrun.
Among the other exhibits are the treasures from the mounds near Plovdiv and bronze plastic arts from the Roman towns.
