It adjusts the performance of the engine to the transmission and the chassis so that the vehicle will act in the best possible way on every terrain. By switching a button on the control panel, the driver can decide his manner of driving depending on the terrain – snow, sand, gravel, mud or grass. Freelander II comes with two brand new engines: the 3.2-litre V6, 233 hp petrol engine and the 2.2-litre, 160 hp turbodiesel engine. The new Land Rover is 30 per cent more powerful and 10 per cent more economical than the previous V6 model.
