What is a motor vehicle expo all about? A bunch of beautiful, new and expensive vehicles gathered under one roof! Or it is rather a look at the latest achievements in vehicle design and technology?
Of course, it is no bad thing if the Expo has a pragmatic side as well, just as every other major international Expo does. For this reason, Bulgarian importers of vehicles have taken care to reach out with special offers and discounts for the duration of the Expo.
In alphabetical order, the special offers at the 2007 Sofia Motor Show are:
“Porsche BG” offers price discounts on two of its models in the form of additional equipment. In the case of the Audi A6, this is to the value of 6000 leva while for the A4 it is the equivalent of 10 000 leva.
“Kamor Auto” is offering individual discounts, valid for models from BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce.
Ratola Corporation has prepared exclusive prices of their BRABUS models. Some of the discounts offered exclusively for the duration of the Expo are as high as 16 000 euro. Discounts are offered for BRABUS accessories as well.
Ford is offering promotional packages with additional equipment tax-free.
The Fiesta Comfort comes with a free equipment package valued at 2600 leva, while the Focus Collection has a price of 26 950 leva (VAT incl) and a free equipment package to the value of 3000 leva. The Ford Fusion includes additional equipment valued at 2300 leva as part of the overall price.
Honda has special offers on its models on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Bultrako, the company importing Honda into Bulgaria.
Only for the duration of the Expo, KIA’s cee’d is for sale with a zero advance payment, 500 leva monthly payment and a five-year-long leasing contract. KIA also offers 50 000 km of free of charge technical maintenance. The Picanto, Rio, Magentis, Carens and Carnival models have a special discounts of seven per cent, cash or leasing. The discount on the Sorento and Cerato is five per cent while the Sportage is on sale with a 10 per cent discount.
Mazda’s offers are for additional free-of-charge equipment of the following models: Mazda 3 Sport TX, value 3500 leva, MX-5 Challenge, value 2500 leva, and MX-5 Revolution, value 3600 leva. The BT-50 4х4 ТЕ pick-up has a level of equipment for which in any other case you would pay 4600 leva, and in the GT2 modification the sum goes to 5400 leva.
At Renault - Nissan exhibition stand you will find the Nissan’s Pathfinder and Navara with an automatic transmission which usually costs 5000 leva more than the manual transmission. Note comes with discount of 2500 leva, which with the small Micra comes with 60 000 km of free of charge technical maintenance.
Peugeot presents the models from the exclusive “15 years Sofia France Auto” series - Peugeot 307, Peugeot 307SW and Peugeot 407. Peugeot Partner is part of this series as well, although it will not be on show. The three models offer low prices and many options.

Ssang Yong offers discounts between five per cent and 10 per cent plus promotional packages for exterior and interior accessories.
Suzuki
The Grand Vitara is on sale with interest-free leasing for 36 months and no advance payment. Swift has a promotional price of 19 539 leva or six-year leasing without a first payment.
Volkswagen
A vast variety of discounts are to be offered exclusively at the Expo.
Polo (three-door) and Cross Polo have the bonus of 1200 leva in additional equipment.
The Golf, which starts from the price of 28 997 leva (VAT incl), comes with a free-of-charge accessories package including air conditioning system, rear door L-windows armrests and a CD player.
Cross Touran has its third set of back door seats free of charge which allows it to be bought for just 41 583 leva (VAT incl) using a tax credit.
Eos – every buyer of the VW cabriolet coupe will get a gift from the company – a digital Sony video camera DCR-SR52E with 30GB memory. The cabriolet costs 46 990 leva (VAT incl).
Passat – for the price of 39 500 leva (VAT incl), buyers get additional equipment to the value of 2000 leva.
Touareg - every buyer of this SUV will get a gift from the company – a Sony DVD player.
