Do you know that in the 1930s, a French dentist came up with, and took out a patent for, the removable hard roof that goes with cabriolets? Peugeot took 65 years to come back to this tradition and invent a true best seller in its segment - the 206CC. Like so much else, this model has already grown old. The new generation 207CC uses the base of the hatchback, which has the same index, but offers more in terms of luxury and speed with a price only 10 per cent higher than its predecessor. The improvement of the cabriolet with the hard roof is visible in the vehicle’s lines. The removable hard roof is completely electronic. Further, the 207CC is bigger in size and offers more interior space. It is clear that BMW’s help with developing the engines has played a role.
The petrol 1.6-litre, THP, 16V 150 hp, 240 Nm torque engine gives the sports vehicle magnificent dynamics.
The vehicle is also offered with another 1.6 l, 120 hp petrol engine and 1.6 l, 110 hp diesel engine. The starting price is 26 700 leva (VAT incl) with a very long list of luxurious accessories.
