This is the place to try quality drinks and fish delicacies while enjoying the post-modern classic that boasts German quality with a British accent – the Wiesmann GT. A real jewel with an aristocratic look, powered by a BMW V8 4.8-litre, 367 hp engine, and with a luxurious interior. It takes Wiesmann GT only 4.6 secs gain a speed of 100 km/h, with a maximum speed of 290 km/h. Every model is handmade and offers a lot of stylish solutions. The model on show has a price of 147 000 euro (VAT incl). The price covers all excise duties as well. Wiesmann has been around since 1985 when the brothers Friedhelm and Martin Wiesmann decided to enter the luxury vehicle market with their own model. In 1993 they managed to prove their talent with their first model, the Roadster.
To win a prize...
For the first time in Bulgaria, visitors to the Expo will have the chance to win a vehicle of their choice after they fill in a form handed out at the entrance. You will be able to choose from six models, each costing no more than 35 000 leva: Citroen C4, Volvo C30, Nissan Note, Peugeot 207 and Skoda Fabia. Put a mark next to the name of the car that you want to win, and if you are likely, you may have to ask someone to fetch your old car from the Expo’s parking area. Even if you do not win a car, you will still have the chance to win a Raser quad bike or a seven-day holiday for two in Turkey’s Antalia seaside resort, or a discount voucher for Bosch products to the value of 150 leva. The first Bulgarian made motor vehicle, the Universe was born from co-operation between DaimlerChrysler and Sliven’s Technical University. It comes in three modifications, in the colours of Bulgarian flag – white (hatchback), green (estate) and red (tuning). The prototype is already on the road. The five door Universe has a SmartFour engine and can easily reach the speed of 140 km/h.
Who’s the One
The most expensive model at the Expo is the Rolls Royce Phantom with a price of 878 000 leva. The unique vehicle has the genes of genuine royalty and is on sale in Bulgaria for the first time. It has a 6.75-litre, V12, 453 hp engine and reaches a speed of 100 km/h in 5.9 secs. The top speed is 245 km/h. The luxury vehicle weighs 2620 kg, is 5.5 m long, two metres wide and 1.5 metre high. The doors open unconventionally. The vehicle has tyres size 255/50 R21 106W. Last year at the Varna Expo: the only light vehicle Expo in 2006 – the most expensive model was the Range Rover Vogue at a price of 196 678 leva (VAT incl).
