The same applies to any female that scolds her spouse over watching a football match or not making enough money to support his family. This was decided by Parliament, which yesterday gave its final approval to the new Domestic Violence Act.
Offenders will be tried in court under a fast-track procedure. According to the new law, the definition of domestic violence will include any physical, psychological or sexual abuse. Even aiming a blow at someone at home will be regarded as abuse. Domestic abusers will be forcibly separated from their spouses and if found guilty they will be ordered to undergo correctional programmes to be taught proper behaviour. (Standart News)
