Deep Purple’s concert in Sofia on November 1 2007 will seat 7500 fans of the band.
The tickets were sold out, one month before the concert, Darik Radio reported.
The event will be held in Zala Festivalna at 8pm. It is part of the band’s world tour Rapture of the Deep Tour.
Deep Purple has visited Bulgaria several times, the band’s last visit being in the coastal town of Kavarna in 2005.
The hard rock band from the UK was formed in Hertfordshire in 1968. Members of the band changed several times since then, and in Sofia will arrive Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Ian Gillan, Steve Morse, Don Airey.
Deep Purple are considered pioneers of heavy metal and hard rock, together with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
The band is believed to have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide.
