Candidates for the acquisition of national flag carrier Bulgaria Air would have to pay at least 10 million leva, mediapool.bg reported.
The final offers have to be presented to the Privatisation Agency (PA) until October 5 2006, mediapool.bg said.
Two candidates, Bulgarian Balkan Hemus Group and Italian Air One Bulgaria, reached the final stage of the tender for Bulgaria Air. They compete for 99.99 per cent of the company shares.
Bulgarias government launched a two-stage tender for Bulgaria Air privatisation in June 2006. In the beginning of August PA selected three candidates to continue to the final stage, Air One - Bulgaria, Balkan Hemus Group and Airlines Bulgaria, owned by the Greek Aegean Airlines.
Later only the Bulgarian and the Italian candidates presented to PA their documents to continue the tender.
The Cabinet approved the strategy for Bulgaria Airs privatisation on February 2 2006. PA would evaluate the offers according to that strategy, mediapool.bg said.
