Bulgarias coastal Bourgas Airport will service its 1 800 000th passenger for 2007 on September 18.
In 2006, the airport serviced a total of 1 802 035 passengers, Focus news agency reported.
The last organised group of tourists would fly from the airport on October 27 2007. That same day last charter is scheduled to fly to Hanover.
German tourists book the last flights, Focus said.
Currently, some 35 000 tourists were on vacation in nearby Sunny Beach resort, where the active tourist season ends September 20.
On that date, groups of Scandinavian tourists were expected to fly home.
