1.3 MILLION LEVA-WORTH HEROIN SEIZED IN BULGARIAS BLAGOEVGRAD

Police in the southern Bulgarian town of Blagoevgrad seized nearly 13 kg of heroin worth 1.3 million leva.

Two men, carrying the narcotic substance, were detained, Blagoevgrads police department said.
 
The men were traveling in the direction of Petrich. Heroin was found in 26 packages hidden in their car.

Heroin found in the car is sufficient for the production of 130 000 doses.

Policemen said that the two men detained confessed on their own about the drug. This is one of the biggest shipments found in the Blagoevgrad region.

Investigators are now trying to find what the origin of the drug is and where it was supposed to be delivered.
