Qatar's minister of state for foreign affairs visiting Bulgaria

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov was scheduled to hold talks on May 3 2012 with Khalid Al Attiyah, Qatar's minister of state for foreign affairs, the Foreign Ministry said.
 
Al-Attiyah was to arrive in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia at the head of an 18-member delegation including senior officials from various ministries and representatives of leading Qatari investment companies.
 
The Qatar delegation is visiting in preparation for an official visit to Bulgaria by Qatar’s prime minister and foreign minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, which is scheduled for mid-May.

Al-Attiyah will meet Prime Minister Boiko Borissov.
 
A number of co-operation agreements will be agreed, including an investment agreement worth $100 million discussed during Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borissov’s visit to Qatar in March 2012, as well as agreements in the areas of health care, agriculture, mining, customs and culture, to be signed during by the visit by Qatar’s prime minister.
