About 1100 students from 44 countries are studying various subjects at the university, and 97 per cent of newly-admitted students will receive tuition "almost free" because they have been granted financial support from the university, according to a report by television station bTV.

The culmination of the jubilee celebration of the 20th anniversary of AUBG will be on October 3 in Sofia.
