The biggest ice rink on the Balkans will be open 24 hours a day
Free wireless internet access has been set up for the area around Sofia's Ariana Lake, Sofia municipality announced.

Over the weekend of December 15 and 16, the largest outdoor ice skating rink opened in Sofia. The 1 200 sq m rink was placed in Ariana Lake, at Orlov Most (Eagle's Bridge), in the city centre, balkantravellers.com said. The lake had been emptied to accommodate the ice skate rink. DJ events, ice skating competitions and charity events have been scheduled on and around the rink.
The funding is provided under the foreign military sales programme of the US army's Program Executive Office of Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.
