Its a shame yes, but we only have ourselves to blame, we dont have to spend money we dont have!! Property markets will stabilise, though due to vendors expectations of prices this my take many years until realistic prices are paid and first time buyers are allowed in the market once more. One of the foolish who bought in 2007 was robbed by builders, shop keepers on a regular basis until got wise..now stuck with a house that's not worth the money put into it and worse still renovation work was so bad I'm having to spend out money I no longer have just to make the place water tight. I came here with my husband who now works (for Bulgarian wages)to enable day to day living.
I hate it here and trust no-one but no longer have the means to return home and start again. Hey Ho I'm alive!!!! [...]

Most wish they had not bought in Bulgaria.
But if you bought almost anything anywhere in 2007, you would have lost money.
