Those useless Serb barbarian refugees have been trying to get into Kosovo since their own family abandoned tham in the Carparthian mountains and beyond.
The religion they stole from Rome, their language from balto-slavs at the north, and land from the autochtones of the Balkans.
What do Serbs have that is theirs?

I didn't have time to read the whole comments but I read enough to get in the debate. Peggy are you kidding me?? you can find otoman maps everywhere, anytime you want, showing the ALBANIAN 4 VILLAYETS, (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/38 /Albanian_vilayet.jpg)and it's not just kosovo, but the villayet of scutari used to lay till plava (plevlje) , guzia (gusnje) & the Preseva Valley in Serbia!!! all landmarks left out of albanian borders by the Ambasador's Conference (the treaty of london) in 1913! &&the conclusion is: they gave land to serbia as a recompense of war against otomans ( when [...]

LOL, dont be ignorant, Serbs never wona a battle, Kosovo and Vojvodina were atached to Yugoslavia, wich acted to keep in the austrio hungarians germans and italians. now Serbs are as useless in the balkans as in the barbarian wars.
"- I assume you mean 'mountainous people' and not 'monotonous people'."

"- I will agree that the Albanians have lived in the area for 5 centuries however you cannot deny that the Serbs have lived there for almost 8 centuries."
Some yes, but always as a minority. And remember that Belgrade is a Bulgarian word, Bulgaria is older than Servia. Hence the break up of byz is all you have for colture or any proof of anything.
Which brings back into question - where is the evidence that the area always belonged to the Albanians?
"There are records of Serbians living in the area for close to 8 centuries now, ruling the area as a medieval state before the Ottomans (the years 1180 to 1455). Records of mass migrations to and from the area are quite clear. Personally however I don't think the issue is as clear as the Albanians announce and nor the Serbians either. Everyone wants to claim ownership."
Serbs are slavik, Albanians are autochtones in the region... Everyone is only Serbs that have dreams to carv out other countrys like Bosnia. pathetic scums have been halted now.

I dont feel bad about them, the Serbs supported thes wars, hundreds of grave sites filled with youth elderly females, all tied up... let alone the public burning of a hole family.
They still have not moved in a single step to claim any better than what they did. Pathetic scums all who are hidding evidence.
"I do not know what happened about the voting. I doubt 7000 though would have had any significant affect to the polls though."

Hello "The Kosovo Issue."
Hello "Tonyc"
Kosovo is not an issue anymore than the EU questionaire is an "obstacle" to join the union.
- I believe it is still an issue. Some major players refuse still to acknowledge Kosovo as independent from Serbia. And it remains an issue still for the Albanians living in Kosovo and to the Serbians too. It remains an issue to the EU and Europe as a whole.

As ingenious as the Macedonians with Alexander the Great Skier.
- The people of FYROM/Vardaska - ie slavic) do claim ownership of Alexander the Great as their own man. And so have the Bulgarians and so have the Albanians and so have many different peoples.
Alexander was a Macedonian and Macedonians were and remain today a Hellenic people (the people in northern Greece). Macedonia was a geographical region whose land base covers modern day Greece, FYROM/Vardaska, Albania, Serbia and Bulgaria with by far the largest part (52%) being still in Greece. FYROM/Vardaska only occupies 31%. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macedonia_(Greece).
Now its your time to say: Serbs hevenly moved to unpopulated fields, invented the spoon, were an empire till greece, and looking till tokyo... lol
- I understand. I can imagine extremist Serbs claiming many things. I have also heard Bulgarians mockingly claim that Vardaskans (people of FYROM) think they should have ownership rights to the moon. I have heard Albanians claim the Ottoman Empire fell because of them and not the Serbs, Greeks, Bulgars. I think claims like this must be a Balkan in-house joke.
than continue with that the west hates wariors and truth and international law.

I do not understand why my comments were removed. They were respectful and unemotional. All I requested for was for someone to provide me with a reference to some valid evidence to show that Kosovo always belonged to the Albanians.
And this is very much on topic for the article above. We are discussing Kosovo.
The comments may have been removed by the moderator but that does not suspend the question. Can someone, anyone do this for me please. It is a fair request!

Serbians didn't had enough voters to fill up boxes. They imported some of thousands of them from Serbia to make look it as a process.

Serbia does not understand the moderate language. It didn't before, it don't now.
It's not worth to waste time with them.

First, Kosova is property of Albanians and belong to albanians and other minorities living there. Serbia can not playing around with minorities (3%) living in north Mitrovica. 97% will not accept any Serbian pressure to give away territorial concessions.

Didn't think that EULEX could implement something like this when they are under UN mandate and UN has a little paper called Res 1244 which is still in force.
The Kosovo Government and the international Community is playing a waiting game, but i don't know how long they can wait for? in the hope that as Serbia moves closer to the EU, its grip on northern Kosovo will loosen, and kosovo authorities take charge over time, but i wonder will the peoples attitude in northern kosovo change in due time towards integration into kosovo, or will they continue separatists agendas without Serbia's "official" support, in the hope of at least gaining autonomy within Kosovo, which will be very dangerous, as it will mean another unstable Bosnia style country in [...]

If UN or EU don't recognize Kosovo as a country what makes it legal then? Just the fact that KLA and NATO are occupying it at present?
Unfortunately for you they are not the international court and don't represent it.

EULEX is deployed there as status neutral and should stick to it.
If 2/3 of the world sees Kosovo as part of Serbia then how are Serbian official supposed to be stopped from entering their own territory?
UN doesn't recognize Kosovo and neither does EU as a body so EULEX has no right to make that decision.
Again 2/3 of the world says Kosovo is Serbia. Do we believe in majority rules (democracy) or do we believe in US style of democracy (might is right)?
Serbia needs to stop interfering in its neighbor's internal affairs ! We've had 20 years of war, instability, isolation, and poverty because of Belgrade's insistence of using Serbs living in neighboring countries as pawns in their little power games. It's time to put an end to this self-defeating practice and to move forwards as a "normal" and respectable country instead of being a local bully and pariah state.
This sounds to me like nonsense. Albanian officials don't need special permission, Macedonian officials don't need special permission, etc. So why should Serbian officials do so? This sounds like discrmination. Besides that, Kostunica, about whom there was most upheaval, is not a Serbian official. His only status is that of parlemantarian.
I can't help myself, but it is interesting to see how gradually Serbia surrenders to reality.
