When will people start living in the present time? Always blaming everything on the past isn't filling any potholes.
In every hole you see the reason why it's there!!!
START WORKING PROPERLY FOR THE MONEY PAYED!!!
Really, is it reasonable to still blame communism (it is now 2010) and correct me if I am wrong but I think that in Bulgaria communism fell in 1989-90 (that is 20 years ago). Maybe the condition of the roads and the general dilapidated state of the whiole country is actually due to the "Ottoman Yoke".
Communism, conspiracy, and bad leadership? Is that whats screwing Bulgarian roads?
Whats missing in Bulgaria is motivated work force.
People look down on manual labor, yet there is no end to the rants and complains, and the search of external reasons for why our lives suck.
Like for example people commenting on other people's comments on internet sites!
It's just a matter of how lazy the people are in doing there jobs. Boydo once said that he would actualy take a shovel and fix them himself while he was the mayor. Now that he is the PM he will not allow enough money for the city to fix what is a total disgrace. I'm sure the tire and automotive industry are partly owned by Boyko so that when someone's tire's get ruied they will have to pay to have it fixed and Boyko will receive part of the funds. He has his hand in everything. Sofia is like [...]
Read the full comment driving in a mountain, it is not what a city road should be like, I mean every city has potholes, here in the US when there is a pothole all we have to do is call a hotline and with a day or two it is fixed, it's that simple, what is the problem in BG. My guess is that the money is skimmed off the top by some offical and put in there pockets just like everything else in Bulgaria. But some of these potholes are not potholes are sinkholes, they could swallow a Lada in some cases. Wake up leaders of Sofia, fix your dam roads, people pay taxes for the infrastructure, do what your suppose to do just for once. What do you think people's impression of Sofia are when they leave the airport? I was like WTF is this Beirut, or Iraq? It's a disgrace. If you fixed them as they accured then there wouldn't be a problem. It's looks like a bombed out area.
communism has left many holes....
Is there some law in BG that says the road infrastructure must be kept in a shoddy condition? It is almost as though it were intentional.
Make people that use the street also pay for them if they never leave the city.
if streets are constructed properly they might last longer, in every pothole you can see the reason why it's there!
Or will that be against road constructing companies rules because if they fix the roads like they have been doing last half century they can make money out of it every three months instead of once when roads are build the right way.
