Do you have a guardian angel? You may think you don’t, but in fact you are assigned one at birth, so it might be that you have forgotten the password. If so – it is the right time to restore it:

March 25 is the day when angels are particularly active, hovering around to celebrate the day of their all-time ultimate mission – the Annunciation of the divine embodiment!
Their functions depend on their assigned place in the hierarchy, but in principle the ministering angels of the third order deal with human-God affairs. They hold the passwords to the vital link with God, which is the only way to open the window and get a glimpse into the divine plan, in order not to feel "caught in the events". In other words, your freedom is at stake here. And that is precisely what angels do.

Gabriel was an ordinary mid-air hovering angel, until the moment he accomplished his mission and opened the window for Mary. He gave her the liberating password – to be Theotocos – God-bearer, while he himself became a favourite Archangel, in other words URL.

To ease the case, I have collected some of Archangel Gabriel’s most popular browsing strategies, so that you become familiar with angels’ liberating paths. The earliest issue comes from Syria, eighth century. This double representation, probably after a double door decoration, works as a mirror-link; furthermore, the images of the angel and Mary are also mirroring themselves, so we are seeing a rare type of a modern double insertion of data for greater security.

The horizontally turned figure of eight, which frames the iconic images, is enhancing the impact of the double protection, as well as encrypting the notion of infinity. Numbers and geometrical figures were inbuilt in the foundation of orderly arrangements of the entire religious structure. In Hagia Sofia at Constantinople, in 612 "the ordered worship of God was a means by which holiness could enfold everyone under the protection of the great helmet of the dome above, the singing of the Liturgy imitated the music of heaven with angels at the same choir alongside worshippers…"and was ensured by "…80 priests, 150 deacons, 40 deaconesses, 70 sub deacons, 160 readers, 25 cantors and 100 doorkeepers".

A later witness to the symbolic symmetry arrangement is the image coming from Sinai, 13th  century. The poised encounter with parallel gesturing of Mary and the angel, inscribed within a circular frame over bright yellow background elevates the event to a mystically synchronised link.

The Turnovo image brings us to the original realistic point. According to the narrative, the Annunciation happened at a well and the Angel took Mary by surprise, which the 14th century artist infused successfully.

This authentic link makes a contribution to the deriving strategies of the compendium of Christian coding, as coming from documented sources: later Mary will give birth at a grotto near a well too, and historic sites of wells are often associated with lives of saints (Cosmo and Damian) and sites of chapels and churches.

The angels surely show the right links, and restore forgotten passwords, but our reality produces daily thousands of social jams, ethical invasions, violation of borderlines, unacceptable crossings, provocative trespassing. Berruguete dug up deep in time to reveal the static power of the setting: the color coordination between the Angel’s wings and Mary’s garments, continued in the coordinated symmetry of gesture and posture elevates the image to a pre-designed phenomenon, as if fixed since the beginning of ages. In this infinite stillness can we hear the angel’s whisper "O, rejoice, you highly favoured one!" Luke, 1:26-38? If so – we have got the right pass-word…

Leonardo steered his brush with a flamboyant gesture to catch a strong naturalistic link: it is believed that the Angel’s wings have been copied from a natural bird; I believe this bird as having just flown away in the vast panoramic space…perhaps, along the invisible trajectory the Angel himself had come via…

The natural realism went ahead:  the lily substituted the well as a link to purity; Murillo brought the angel closer to Mary, so that the password is captured correctly; caring Rembrandt even placed Mary under the angel’s wing for safety…while some modern representations followed him on the way… 
Indeed, we really need the angelic realism.

"Follow Christ to learn not to be enemy of yourself, neither of others, nor of the angels, but in cooperation with them be able to take part in the divine path…" calling from the Athenian Areopagus that great spokesman of the angelic institution, Dionysius.

Once equipped with the right password we can browse securely, for acts without true link do not act, while within the truth even non-acts, just browsing thoughts, do work mysteriously.

God is artist, being a creator.
He lets his angels, the darlings of the true links, free on the 25th March… the Angels day.

So let your soul fly for it!
