Alarming research has revealed that no less than 60 bridges across Bulgaria are dilapidated and very dangerous for motorists.

This information was made available by Regional Development and Public Works Minister Rossen Plevneliev who said in an interview to Bulgarian mass-circulation daily 24 Chassa on March 10 3010 that all bridges along the Hemus Motorway, without exception, require urgent overhaul.

According to the report, Ministry officials have inspected the facilities that are in the worst state, and will "seek financing in coming years so as to begin work on them". It was not explained why the ministry is willing to wait for years given that the facilities are in such dire need of repair.

"Bridge maintenance in Bulgaria is at an exceedingly low level, which is why some of them start to collapse when rivers swell and the conditions aggravate," Plevneliev said, cited by 24 Chassa daily.

There are already added not "few stotinki" but over an Lev to every liter.
It is called "excise" - 0.995 leva per liter, and on top of that there is VAT of 20%.

Add few stotinki to every liter of fuel sold and there will be money to fix everything in need of fixing.
