BBLF’s Corporate Social Responsibility awards

For the seventh year, the Bulgarian Businesses Leaders Forum handed out its annual Corporate Social Responsibility awards at a ceremony on February 16 in Sofia, with politicians, ambassadors and business people in attendance.

The winners this year were mobile operator M-Tel, which got the Social Investor award, UniCredit Bulbank who got the Environmental Investor award,  Siemens – Bulgaria who won the award for Investor in Human Capital and Working Conditions, Overgas took the Investor in Education prize and Procter&Gamble got the Marketing for a Cause award.

The annual ENGAGE award, which goes to a company that has mostly engaged its employees in corporate social responsibility, went to Vivacom telecommunications company.

UniCredit's H1 pre-tax profit from Bulgarian operations drops 36 per cent to 26.1 million euro

In a consolidated half-year financial report on its website, UniCredit Group said 'as a market leader in Bulgaria, UniCredit Bulbank has total assets of 5.7 billion euro. Customer deposits grew by 4.1 per cent year-on-year to 3.4 billion euro, mainly driven by growth in retail deposits'.
