A Bulgarian rock band based on the Black Sea enjoyed an unexpected dividend when a holidaying British couple offered to become their managers for a UK tour.

Sue Winger and her partner Paul McCullie own a holiday home in Ravda. While on a trip to Sunny Beach they became so impressed by a band playing in a local bar that they decided to bring them over to the UK.

The band, Mr Vagabond, consists of a lead singer/guitarist, twin lead guitars, a drummer and a bass guitarist/vocals.

Zazo, the lead singer, has now completed his second year at the bar in Sunny Beach, Rumen, the bass player and Ivo, the lead guitarist, played in the same band many years ago. Ilian, the drummer, conducts a church choir.

Mr Vagabond performs their own material but also covers many bands, including AC/DC, Kings of Leon and Bon Jovi.

Sue and Paul were particularly surprised that they had only been together for four months given that they performed so well.  "There and then I decided I was bringing the band back to England. I knew that if I left the band there, there they would stay. I asked Zazo the singer if he would like us to manage them and they agreed. I said I would like them to come to South Yorkshire, which is where we are from. Obviously many discussions took place and here we are with only four weeks to go untill they arrive to play nine venues across South Yorkshire."

Mr Vagabond's full list of venue is as follows:

Enjoyed all the gigs. Spine tingling sound and vocals, very charismatic and having 2 amazing lead guitarists gives them a real edge. Also loved the Bulgarian influence on one of the tracks and would love to hear more. Will be there when they return with more friends. Fantastic stuff!xxxxxxxxx
