Greek farmers blocked the Kulate checkpoint along the Greek-Bulgarian border at around 8.30 on February 13 2010, Bulgarian media reported.

During the night, the checkpoint had been repeatedly temporarily blocked, Bulgarian news agency BTA said.

It was unclear how long the blockade would continue, Bulgarian-language daily Dnevnik said.
