UK heavy metal veterans Venom are to perform in Bulgaria in April 2010, Bulgarian-language broadcaster Avtora.com said.

The concert will take place at Zala Festivalna on April 17. It was not yet known who would play as support act for the show.

Venom, formed in 1979 in Newcastel upon Tyne, is considered one of the most influential heavy metal bands, especially for their first two albums; the 1981 album Welcome to Hell and Black Metal from 1982.
